Media Molecule has come out and confirmed they are working on a second title, their first title being Tearaway. The Vita exclusive that was announced during Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference
In an interview with Eurogamer, co-founder of Media Molecule Alex Evans has spoken regarding a second project in the works. This title is currently in the early development and research stage. “The focus is Tearaway, but Media Molecule is a lot more than 15 people. We call it in a holding pattern, because the focus is on Tearaway. I’m not saying that from a press angle – our focus is on Tearaway and making it awesome. The other project is very much in an early stage and is a toy. You don’t need to worry about it.”
This is very interesting news, the once exclusive LittleBigPlanet developer is now not only creating one new game, but two. With Tearaway being a brand new IP for the Vita, could this second new IP be a next generation new IP for the PlayStation 4?
Only time will tell and as always, we will update you if we find out anymore.
