F1 2012 Demo Release This Week

Today Codemasters announced that the demo for their upcoming game F1 2012 will be released later this week, with the full title being released on September 20 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. They also provided the latest gameplay trailer where they recreate the opening to this years Formula One World Championship, where there was seven unique winners from the first seven races.

The demo will offer two of the games newest features, Young Driver Test an Season Challenge. In Young Driver Test players will be able to learn how to handle and get the most out of their racing car, with a series of tests and videos to learn all the skills.This feature was inspired by the real-life event that takes place at Abu Dhabi.

Then gamers will be able to sample Season Challenge, a new game mode that will put racers against eachother to compete across ten races to become the number one driver on the grid. The demo will offer gamers the ability to pick a rival and then face them in a five lap race of Monza, will you have what it takes to win?

F1 2012 offers fans the most immersive and accessible Formula One experience yet, franchise veterans and new players alike will feel right at home behind the wheel. This year will also mark the first inclusion of the United States Grand Prix from Austin, Texas and the exciting return of Germany’s famous Hockenheim circuit to the calendar.
