Dust 514 Out In October?

Dust 514 might just be the most ambitious game ever made. If you’re expecting me to go into detail about why however, you’d be disappointed as we’d be here all day. What I can tell you is that Sony Computer Entertainment America’s President and CEO and king of sweet talk Jack Tretton may have leaked Dust 514’s release window of October 2012. That’s right, next month.

Free-To-Play games are getting bigger and bigger as we all know and this was something raised to Mr. Tretton in his interview with Fox Business. Tretton was asked about how he felt about online free-to-play games to which he explained “We do have free-to-play games. A game called Dust 514 is a full-blown first-person shooter available on PlayStation 3″. Note how he said “available”. That’s pretty interesting as the only thing that’s been available is the Dust 514 betas. So if you thought that was interesting, you’ll find this even more eyebrow raising. Tretton also said that Dust 514 was “out next month”. If that’s true, it would not only be great news, but perplexing that Sony let something slip. Because they never leak anything.

All of this can be found in the video on Fox Business’s website.

Are you excited for Dust 514? Do you understand Dust 514 because I don’t. But I’m still so excited for it. Let us know in the comments below.
