Could We Be Saying Goodbye To Microsoft Points?
Recently, Microsoft has been moving towards using real currency rather than it’s own form using Microsoft Points. The Verge has reported that buying content straight from the Xbox Live video store takes you to a credit/debit card transaction page.
This means no more conversions or just plain guessing to work out how much you need to pay when purchasing something off of the Xbox Live Marketplace. The Verge also reported that it might change altogether with the upcoming update for the Xbox 360 dashboard later this month on the 26th of October. The next Xbox Live update is said to include Windows 8 mechanics so we could be saying bon voyage to MS points.
Think you’ll miss Microsoft Points? Probably not.
