If you’ve dreamed of working for Valve with their catered lunches everyday (seriously, how cool is that?), working on awesome games and being part of one of the most loved gaming companies in the industry (apart from Analog Addiction), then your search is over.
Valve is looking for play testers, namely for hardware and software. In a post on the Steam forums, Burton Johnsey of Valve says “looking for folks to come to Valve and playtest both released and unreleased versions of our games as well as play around with some of our hardware prototypes.”. However, they are only looking for US based playtesters for the moment namely in the Seattle/Bellevue area’s of Washington state. However, internationals are welcome to fill out the survey as Valve “we may have plans for remote playtests in the future,”. Johnsey states that it is strictly US applicants that’ll be employed for the moment.
Despite a lack of details, Valve did confirm that they are indeed making some new hardware that we could see as early next year. Valve has had a lot of activity going on recently including their software apps. Could we possibly be seeing some more exciting developments in recent months? Stay tuned to Analog Addiction if anything breaks.
So if you’re interested in the survey, you can check it out on their website.
