It Gets Worse For Prey 2
According to Human Head Chief Designer, Nathan Cheever, Prey 2 is in Limbo and has not in fact been cancelled. Cheever provided the news through a brief Tweet today. The Tweet reads that the game “hasn’t officially been canceled” and is “only in limbo”.
It’s been a while since we first saw Prey 2 at E3 2011 when it unveiled a great looking trailer followed with even better looking gameplay. And it’s been the first since we heard of it since it was delisted from Bethesda’s website back in August. There have been many a worrying articles surrounding the “cowboys in space” themed FPS for a while now. Earlier this year, it was rumoured that Bethesda had cancelled the game. A rumour that was later put down by Bethesda who said that the game was being pushed back to 2013 for “quality reasons”.
It could be a while until we see Prey 2 again, or if we even see it at all. Be sure to check up on Analog Addiction for more news.
