Ubisoft has today announced a map and texture pack inspired by the Far Cry 3 universe, for Minecraft. This free download will be released on PC on October 26.
This pack will allow Minecraft players to experience the world through the eyes of Far Cry 3, the pack will modify almost every aspect of the original game which includes environments, tools and weapons. It will also allow you to discover key locations in Far Cry 3, plus discover characters such as Vaas, Jason and Citra who will all be designed to fit inside the Minecraft universe. The Far Cry 3 map will also include over 50 Easter Eggs for players to discover, which are hidden throughout the island.
The map pack itself has been modded by Michael Lambert, who is a well known Minecraft enthusiast. Artists Axel Janssen and Yohann Delcourt have been responsible for textures included in the pack, which will be released for free on PC from the official Far Cry website.
