Borderlands 2 DLC Easter Egg Is Rapturous

As you shoot your way through Borderlands 2 DLC “Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty” (it’s funny because she’s a pirate and has a… never mind), you might notice that a couple of enemies, namely “Mr. Bubbles” and “Lil’ Sis”, bear a striking resemblance to a pair of notable characters from another game.

I just can’t put my finger on it. Would you kindly help me out?
