Yes, Team Meat has always pushed the envelope regarding…well… their crazy ideas, but riding of the coattails of success assures me that this game has promise. The guys at Team Meat can elaborate,
…a month or so ago we decided to do a little game jam over a weekend and fell into a totally out of left field project we call… MEW-GENICS!
He goes on to say this,
Mew-Genics is by far the strangest project I’ve ever worked on.. and that’s saying something. Tommy and I are very happy with how development has been going on it and decided that Mew-Genics will be the next official Team Meat game. We don’t want to spoil too much here, but we can say the game will be randomly generated, strange and involve cats.
Cats people, cats! This is possibly why indie developers are so inspiring; they get their inspiration from anywhere! I cannot wait to see what TM has got up their sleeves, it will only be a matter of time till we see.
Check out the Team Meat Blog to keep up with their game development and/or shenanigans.
Jaime has ripped hairs off his head trying to best Super Meat Boy only to fail miserably. Despite his greater affinity towards dogs, he looks forward to seeing what these two guys have got up their sleeves! Follow him on Twitter at @RTBL1990, and keep checking back in at Analog Addiction.
