PlayStation Store Redesign Delayed For North America
Europe has it, Australia has it, New Zealand has it, but North America will have to wait until they can get the new PlayStation Store upgrade.
In a blogpost on the PlayStation Blog, it’s been revealed that the upgrade has been delayed for an undisclosed amount of time. North America, Chile, Canada and Brazil will all have the 23rd of October release date postponed due to “inconvenience to users”. “While we’ve already solved many of these issues, we’ve decided to postpone the October 23rd launch of the new store in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. We want to be certain that you have an exceptional experience with the new store, so we appreciate your patience as we complete the final phases before launch.” wrote VP of Sony Entertainment Network Eric Lempel.
As for an update on when you guys in the America’s can get the new PlayStation Store redesign, you’ll know when we know. In the meantime, if you have the new PlayStation Store upgrade, check out Analog Addiction’s very own Jamie Briggs’ walkthrough.
