Corpse Party: Book of Shadows Out Winter!

Good News Everyone! That creepy survival horror game that was released on PSP is getting a gnarly looking sequel! Riding on the waves of localization success, Corpse Party’s sequel is being delivered first-class via my heroes over at XSEED. Never one to doubt a games potential due to genre, the publishing/localization company is bring this intriguing sequel digitally to the PSP (we assume Vita as well, no confirmation yet though). XSEED’s own Tom Lipschultz’s has “likened it to horror classics such as Clock Tower and Fatal Frame.” The game is scheduled to arrive in NA this Winter, with a European release to come soon after.

I personally have not played the original Corpse Party myself, however that will all change tomorrow when the game goes on sale on the PSN for $9.99. If you have a PSP or Vita, you would do yourself a service to give this game a go if you are a fan of the horror; frankly its a genre that has been lacking for quite some time.
Are you a fan of Corpse Party? Excited about a sequel? Let us know in the comments below (preferably spoiler free)
