Capcom wants a unique Resident Evil game for the Wii U

As you may know, Resident Evil 6 is skipping Nintendo’s first HD console but not to worry future Wii U gamers, they won’t forget you! The director behind Resident Evil Revelations for the 3DS, Koushi Nakanishi, told the Official Nintendo Magazine that the Wii U offers interesting possibilities for a unique experience:

“The Wii U certainly looks like it will enable creators to come up with all kinds of never-before-seen gameplay ideas,” Nakanishi said. “There are lots of things I’d like to try out on it.”

Also, and this shouldn’t come as any surprise, he said that the GamePad will be used in a way, so that it creates a totally different experience from the other platforms:

“The GamePad’s separate screen enables so many possibilities, and playing on a television screen would enable sharing the experience in a way that wasn’t possible on Nintendo 3DS,” he said. “I feel it would let us create a very unique and fun Resident Evil game.”

The Wii U will launch in North America on November 18, Europe and Australia on November 30 and Japan on December 8.

So what kind of experience do you expect from a Resident Evil game on the Wii U, considering the many possibilities of the GamePad? Let us know in the comments bellow.
