The next DLC pack for Skyrim has been officially announced by Bethesda.
The DLC arrives to the Xbox 360 on the 4th of December for 1600 Microsoft points. Unlike the past two DLC’s, Dawnguard and Hearthfire, very little information of the DLC’s content has been detailed. Bethesda has release a new trailer that gives us an idea of what we’re getting. Whilst some of the stuff is obvious such as the Dragon-riding, other features remain a mystery. Dragon-riding is something that was originally taken out from the games launch last November but with it’s inclusion in the new trailer, it’s obviously included. Whether or not it’s on-rails will have to be determined.
The trailer shows us a flurry of content such as an apparent antagonist, a Dragon-priest who “devoured” Dragons and ruled the island of Soltheim in the North East of Skyrim and was “the first” Dragonborn. If this is where the game is set, it will be the second time players have been able to visit, the first being Bloodmoon, Morrowind’s expansion. The trailer features a lot of new environments and new enemies but since details are scarce, there’s not much we know.
Skyrim: Dragonborn looks to be getting the timed exclusivity for the Xbox 360 with no confirmed date for the PC. It could go without saying that PS3 players probably won’t be seeing this DLC along with Dawnguard and Hearthfire.
