PlayStation 3 Sales Hot On The Heels Of Xbox
Sales of Sony’s PlayStation 3 have hit a high of 70 million units sold as of the 4th of November 2012.
PlayStation 3 is finally catching up to the Xbox 360′s high number of sales with Sony’s latest report of 70 million units sold worldwide in it’s six years of being on the market. Only 15 million of this units are using the PlayStation Move peripherals released in 2010.

Last month, it was revealed that Sony had hit 5 million PlayStation 3 units sold in the UK. Sony commented saying that it was likely due to the release of the PlayStation “super” slim.
Last month, Microsoft revealed that sales of the Xbox 360 had only just reached 70 million units so it’s evident that Sony is now just one step behind Xbox after 6 long years of being miles behind.
