Ratchet And Clank Vita Delayed
News from the PlayStation Blog tells us that Ratchet And Clank: Full Frontal Assault has been delayed on the PlayStation Vita.
The latest entry in the famed Insomniac series is still to be released on the 27th of November for the PlayStation 3 however. The Vita version of the game has been delayed to sometime in January 2013. The first piece of DLC for Full Frontal Assault will be free however. The Mini-Boss Skin will be available to gamers who still buy the game on the 27th for PS3 as a “thank-you” for the wait.
The game combines the shooting and platforming elements that the series is famous for but this time Tower Defence mechanics have been implemented. There’s been no details as to why the game has been delayed, only an assurance that the developer, Tin Giant is hard at work to ensure that it’s the best possible game that can be developed.
Ratchet And Clank Full Frontal Assault is one of Sony’s crossbuy and cross-save titles that the PS3 and Vita are supporting. It’s likely that the Vita version will be free when it’s available if you buy it for PS3.
