Max Payne 3 Painful Memories Pack

A new Max Payne 3 multiplayer map pack is on the way.

The new pack brings players four brand new maps, weapons and more. The pack is called the Painful Memories Pack and is “Inspired by the grisly shootouts from Max’s past” according to Rockstar.

Launching on the 4th of December, the Painful Memories Pack will bring us back to the filthy subway tunnels of Roscoe Street Subway, a location from the original Max Payne that brought death and destruction to many a goon. Rockstar will also be bringing us back to Marty’s Bar, the dinge hole bar again from the original Max Payne.

The next set of maps are themed from Max Payne 3 itself and feature the map, Shoot First set on the “posh Branco family yacht”. The fourth and final map is Canal De Panama, a map where gangs will wage bloody war upon each other. The new weapons with the Painful Memories Pack include “the IMG 5.56 and UAR-21 assault rifles”.

New avatars and items are available in the map pack including the Hangover Burst that “causes enemies to re-spawn with blurred vision, reduced stamina and health.”

The Painful Memories Pack will be available on the 4th of December for the 800 Microsoft points on Xbox Live and $9.99 on the PSN and PC. If you have a Rockstar Pass, you’ll get it as part of the pass.
