David Jaffe working with thatgamecompany?

If there were two things I could make sweet gentle love to, it’d be David Jaffe, creator of God of War and Twisted Metal, and thatgamecompany, creator of Flower and Journey.

Both of these beautiful game makers are renowned for their focus on marrying gameplay with story, which is why I love them both so hard.

I better start working on an extra large Valentines day card, though, because according to a tweet by David Jaffe, he’s heading to Los Angeles to work on a secret project with the “daddy of Flower and Journey”, the “daddy” in question hopefully being thatgamecompany.

One could presume that it’s a game in which a photo of Jaffe’s head flies around a digital New York City collecting the hearts of a million people by violently diving through their torsos. God damn do I hope for that.

I’ll keep an eye out for David’s “beanz” tonight.
