Black Tusk Studios Building Next Big Microsoft Game

Microsoft has renamed it’s Vancouver studio “Black Tusk Studios” who are now tasked with creating the next big Microsoft first party exclusive.

According to Black Tusk, they’ll be creating the “next big entertainment franchise” or as it was put “the next Halo.”

Black Tusk currently employs fifty-five people and is looking to hire more. The employee’s they do have are all AAA game veterans. Former EA employee, Mike Crump is now also part of the team and he tells the Vancouver Sun, “We’re not working on an existing franchise, we’re looking to build the next Halo here in Vancouver, for example, which is really exciting. We are building something from the ground up.”

There aren’t any details as to whether this game will be current-gen but it’s most likely for Microsoft’s next generation Xbox that *doesn’t exist*.
