Assassin’s Creed III DLC Problems
A number of players have reported on Ubisoft’s forums that The Hidden Secrets DLC is wiping out their progress.
It seems that the side missions are safe, but the main ones seem to be completely gone. Furthermore, it looks like the money is also affected, because for some players, it was reverted back to zero after the installation.
These problems have affected only a few Xbox 360 players, so for now, the DLC is still available on the Xbox Live Market.
A Ubisoft representative said:
From what we can tell, this problem seems to be rare and should generally only affect a very small number of players. That said, we’re taking the speedy and complete resolution of this very seriously.
Moreover, to ensure you do not end up with this bug, it is suggested that you shouldn’t play the game while the DLC is being downloaded:
This appears to be the key trigger for this bug. You can do anything else you want to do, just don’t load up your saved game and play it while the DLC is downloading.
