EA and Visceral Games have announced the release date for the Dead Space 3 demo.
The demo for the latest entry Sci-fi horror hit, Dead Space 3 will be available to players on the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live Marketplace on the 22nd of January 2013. The Xbox 360 version of the demo will be a week earlier if you register for a code.
If you’d like a code, you’d better get one quick because it’s a strictly first come, first served system. The offer ends on the 14th of January 2013 at 11:59pm Pacific Standard time.
There are currently no details as to whether cooperative play with Isaac, the series’ main man and new character John Carver. As you can guess, there are also no details about any online functions for the demo.
EA has also released a video titled “The Story So Far” that will bring players up to speed on the events before and leading up to Dead Space 3.
The demo will hit PC platforms in North America on the 5th of February. The European demo will be released on the 8th of February for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
