PlayStation 2 Comes To An End Worldwide

With last months news of the Sony’s iconic PlayStation 2 being discontinued in Japan last month, Sony has confirmed that discontinuation of the PlayStation 2 will follow suit worldwide.

The news of the PlayStation 2 coming to a worldwide end marks the end of an era. Launching twelve years ago in the year 2000, the PlayStation 2 arguably made gaming what it is today. Launching with an enticing lineup of games, the PlayStation 2 set the stage for gaming today. With titles such as Grand Theft Auto III, Final Fantasy X and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty being exclusive games at the time, Sony’s console gave the consumer a very good reason to buy it over the competition of the Nintendo Gamecube and the Sega Dreamcast.

The PlayStation 2 launched just at the right time as well. In addition to great games, the PlayStation 2 took the first step into having consoles as tools of home entertainment rather than it being a sole gaming machine. The PlayStation 2 was the first system to release with a DVD player. Being launched around about the same time as DVD’s, the inclusion of a DVD player added an incentive to buy the system.

The PlayStation 2 has gone onto to sell over $150 million hardware units with software units expanding into the billions. In it’s twelve years of being on the market, it’s seen over 10,000 games developed for the console as well as seeing a launch in nearly every continent on Earth.

The PlayStation 2 remains as the best selling console of all time. Well done buddy, we’ll miss you.

adjust to your schedule. When you are trading in the foreign exchange market it is almost impossible to predict if you will be able to reach
your goals. One may also try to confirm it with breakouts of ranges and pullbacks,
to increase the win rate and maximize the performance.

plain. You could glance at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create news titles to get viewers to
click. You might add a video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about
