Skyrim: Redgaurd DLC On The Way?
With Bethesda patenting a trademark that has just come to light, we could be seeing the next installment of the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s downloadable content.
According to the trademark, the DLC package is named Redguard and it’s described as “downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices.”. The trademark is currently approaching renewal in February.

If you’re familiar with the lore behind The Elder Scrolls, you’ll notice the name Redguard is also the name of a race of warriors native to the province of Hammerfell, one of the various lands in the world of Tamriel.
Of course, there has been no official word from Bethesda recognising the games existence with Bethesda’s Pete Hines Tweeting “Sorry, I don’t comment on every rumour that comes up”. This means he’s either trying to shy away from saying anything or it could just simply mean that he can’t be bothered to debunk a rumour that holds no merit.
Of course, when we know, you know.
