Sony Confirms Ascension Special Edition Controller

2013 is already filled with some big Sony exclusives via The Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls, but many would find it hard to argue that Kratos’ next adventure God of War: Ascension isn’t the star attraction.

To celebrate the release of Santa Monica Studio’s God of War: Ascension, Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has confirmed a special edition DualShock 3 Wireless Controller themed after the games protagonist.

The Kratos themed controller will be available to purchase on the release day of God of War Ascension. For those playing at home that release is just over 2 months away on March 14 exclusively on PlayStation 3.

I further reached out to Sony to ask if anymore of their big exclusive games will get the honour of a special edition controller this year, “So I think it’s probably unlikely the other titles will get their own controllers” So sadly, no Last of Us themed controllers are currently on the horizon.
