U.S Exclusive The Last Of Us Editions Announced

The North American special editions for The Last Of Us have been announced via the PlayStation Blog.

The first of two special editions is the Survival Edition which includes a hard-cover art book featuring over 170 pages called The Art Of The Last Of Us by Dark Horse comics. The Survival edition also includes the first issue of The Last Of Us: American Dreams which is the prequel comic also from Dark Horse and it also features an alternate cover only available with that particular edition.

It’ll also come with a Steelbook cover of the game as well as the Sights and Sounds DLC pack which features the Soundtrack, a dynamic theme featuring Joel and Ellie moving through a derelict city and two PSN avatars of Joel and Ellie in their winter gear. This edition will be retailing for $79.99

The second special edition, called the Post-Pandemic edition features the same Steelbook edition, The Last Of Us: American Dreams issue 1 as well as the Sights and Sounds DLC pack. Buyers of the Post-Pandemic edition will also be getting the Survival DLC Pack which has a slew of multiplayer content. The DLC pack includes bonus XP, a melee booster, in-game currency, customisable character items as well as two bonus skins for Joel and Ellie for once the single player is completed.

The Post-Pandemic edition also features a 12 inch statue of Joel and Ellie from the game made by Project Triforce. The Post-Pandemic edition will be retailing for $159.99 and is limited to Gamestop only.
