Dead Space 3 Story DLC ‘Teased’
In a blog post on the Dead Space official site, Dead Space 3 executive producer Steve Papoutsis has hinted that DLC containing new story elements shortly after the games launch. How short you wonder? Well apparently could be as little as a ‘few weeks’.
In the blog post Papoutsis writes, “The team is hard at work on a top secret additional story that will be coming in a few weeks, we’re not saying much, yet – but think ‘disturbing’ to get your imaginations going.”. As we know EA confirmed the Mass Effect N7 Armour coming to Dead Space 3, but apparently there will also be “some Day 1 DLC suits, like the Marauder, Sharpshooter, and Tundra Recon suits, that you might choose to pick up,”
Fans have recently showed dismay towards DLC released very close to the official games release, so it will be interesting to see how Dead Space 3 fans react to this new story content.
Dead Space 3 will launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC February 5. If you are unsure about Dead Space 3, the demo is now like on both PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. We at Analog Addiction have played it so you don’t have too, our thoughts can be read right here.

Ahhh, EA. You own great franchises but you sure know how to fuck them up… micro transactions, DLC before the game is out (and I’m sure the DLC wasn’t cut from the game /sarcasm), and so on… Worst company in America? I doubt it. Worst gaming publisher? I sure as hell think so.
You would think it would at least be in peoples pre-orders, seem like they want to get money from every purchaser.
