The Last of Us “The Infected” Gameplay

Along with new screenshots of the upcoming survival horror from Uncharted developer Naughty Dog, a new gameplay video has been released.

The trailer shows Joel, Ellie and new character Trish moving through a Boston train station just after they’ve escaped from one of the last remaining safe zones in the ruins of the United States. You may notice that the trio are trying to move stealthily but are shining the light onto the infected without any caution. This would be because the Infected don’t see. The Cordyceps infection grows out of the eyes of its victims thus rending them blind but it in turn amplifies the hearing of those infected with the fungus.

The video also gives us a brief glimpse of the games crafting system that will allow players to forge weapons and supplies.
