Is The Last of Us Delayed?
The Last of Us may be delayed according to a change in the release date on Best Buy’s website.
Amazon and Gamestop still have the release date for the upcoming survival horror game as May 7th whilst Best Buy has the release date for the 18th of June. As history has shown time and time again, release dates are often subject to change through retailers as placeholders but it’s unusual that they’ve changed the date after the the official announcement of a titles release date.
What makes this even more unusual is that Naughty Dog has never delayed a game prior to this, at least not after the public announcement of a release date. So far, no word of a delay has emerged on any of the social networking channels or from Sony themselves.
If any official word of a delay comes out, you can find it here on Analog Addiction. For now, hold back the tears and keep in the rumour mill.
