MORE RUMOURS ON ‘ASSASSIN’S CREED IV: BLACK FLAG’

Following the last update in which we were treated with a supposedly in-game map of the next entry in the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ franchise, we know have more details concerning it, including the reveal of the protagonist.

If examiner is right, the protagonist of ‘Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’ will be none other than Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway, and grandfather of Connor Kenway, the protagonist of ‘Assassin’s Creed III’. Edward is a fellow known as a privateer, assassin and “occasional” pirate. As we saw from the in-game map, the game will take place in the Caribbean, with islands like Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas being ripe for exploration.

At the moment, the game is up and running on the Xbox 360, meaning that this is a current generation title, but Ubisoft is reportedly looking to bring it to other platforms as well (most likely the PlayStation 4, “Next-Xbox”, and seeing as Ubisoft is such an important 3rd party developer for Nintendo, maybe on the Wii U as well).

We’ll let you know more as the story develops.
