What Is Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix?
An image for an apparent Assassin’s Creed title named “Rising Phoenix” has emerged online.
Interestingly, the image mentions that the image is from Ubisoft Digital Arts, the team who worked on the live action prequel to Assassin’s Creed II. Whilst it’s unlikely to be a new game with Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag announced last week, it’s possible that this is the latest entry into Ubisoft’s book and graphic novel range.
Of course, Black Flag is a numbered entry in the series so it could also be a similar property akin to Assassin’s Creed Lineage. Ubisoft have already begun the ad campaign for Black Flag with TV spots having already aired in the UK.
The Abstergo Industries logo is clearly visible in the background of this image which could also very well mean that this could have something to do with the modern day aspect of Black Flag. Ubisoft have already revealed that the game takes place in 2013 with the player now being able to view the memories of other peoples ancestors. The modern day part of the game will not be featuring Desmond however. Instead, you’ll be playing as “you” in these segments.
You’ll also notice that the background looks to be rendered. However, the lack of lighting in the background makes it hard to determine, but it looks to be of IOS and Android level quality or even 3DS. Perhaps this is an IOS/Android/3DS related property. It goes without saying, but this image could be anything and whatever this is doesn’t officially exist. Yet.
Whilst we’ll ultimately have to wait and see, Ubisoft could see fit to announce this soon, assuming of course that this image is legitimately real. After all, Black Flag was announced after various leaks.

obviously another vita game
Could be, although the fact that it has a stamp saying “Ubisoft Digital Arts” is very intersting. They are typically associated with movie production. In all likelihood its a Vita game though.
