Amazing Spider-Man 2, Day 30: Ravencroft

Hitting day 30 of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Marc Webb is on Twitter gives us more behind-the-scenes sneak peeks as to what we should expect.

What we see today is something familiar to modern Spider-Man comic fans as it looks like we’ll be seeing the Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane when the film arrives in 2014. If you notice the floor directory below it even says “Voltage Cells,” which hints that we might see Electro held within these walls.

First introduced to the Marvel in Spider-Man Unlimited #1, Ravencroft is, essentially, to the Marvel Universe what Arkham Asylum is to DC. In the past 20 years of comic book history, Ravencroft has housed foes like Carnage, the Jackal and Vermin, among many others. One that many have left out is the villain named Massacre who is among the most deadly and ruthless. He is also held within Ravencroft and has as much of a chance to appear along with Doctor Kafka.
