Updated: ‘Pottermore’ Coming Soon to PlayStation Home

Update: Sony Australia have informed us that users of Pottermore.com and the PlayStation Home version who link their accounts, will receive additional interactive content and spaces to explore. It has also been confirmed the Pottermore content will include four mini-games, with the ability to purchase companions such as owls and various clothing items for their online avatars.

CEO of Pottermore Charlie Redmayne has also commented on the collaboration, “Pottermore reaches across multiple digital platforms, and Sony’s partnership has allowed us to forge this exciting connection with PlayStation Home, creating the most immersive experience possible within that space and giving users wonderful new ways to explore locations from the Harry Potter stories”.

Original Story: PlayStation Home will be receiving a new Harry Potter related addition, when it integrates Pottermore to the free online service.

Pottermore will offer PlayStation Home fans the chance to explore Diagon Alley, take part in mini-games or even Harry Potter related quizzes.  Players will also be able to board the Hogwarts Express and challenge their friends to a Wizard Duel, content that will please any fan of treasured book series.

Pottermore.com is a free-to-use website building an online community experience around the Harry Potter franchise. The content will release this April, but we will update you when we have a specific date.
