Insomniac’s Fuse Out In May

EA and Insomniac have revealed a release date for upcoming third person shooter Fuse of May 28th in North America and May 31st in Europe.

Also announced where the pre-order bonus items that are available from select retailers. The bonus’ can be used to upgrade and customise each of the four main characters in the game.


  • Four Hyperion Prototype Agent Armor Skins—Upgrade your agents’ look with four special, state-of-the-art armor skins discovered inside the top-secret Hyperion Base.
  • Four Hyperion Prototype Weapon Skins—Customize your Fuse weapons with four skins based on each of the original prototypes developed inside Hyperion Base.
  • Quickdraw Team Perk—Increase your damage with this team perk adding powerful Fuse elements to all one-handed weapons for all four characters in your squad.

Fuse of course marks the first multi-platform game after breaking away from being a Sony exclusive developer after 18 years and have developed such titles as Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet and Clank and Resistance.

“We can’t wait to bring Fuse, our first multi-platform game, to gamers worldwide this May.” Said Insomniac’s founder and CEO Ted Price, commenting on the announcement of the games release date.

Fuse was first shown at 2011’s Electronic Entertainment Expo under the name Overstrike and was originally styled in a cartoon themed action adventure with a tinge of comedy before the game underwent a massive overhaul and became a gritty, third person shooter.
