Battlefield 4 will be coming to next-gen consoles according to US retailer GameStop.
Following an email sent out regarding Battlefield 4’s pre-order bonuses, the retailer revealed that “the game will be available for current and next-generation platforms and windows PC in fall 2013.”
Of course EA hasn’t announced any next-gen versions of Battlefield 4 but just last month, EA published a blog post stating they had shown 500 GameStop managers what they were working on for next-generation technologies. With Battlefield 4 having been in development already, it doesn’t come as a huge surprise that Battlefield 4 would be coming to the next-gen.
As it stands, EA has only announced the game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC for the time being.
