In what was one the finest Nintendo Directs, the big N has dropped a bomb of an announcement for any JRPG enthusiast. Per Nintendo Direct, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be making its way to EU and US shores in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
Bravely Default is the throwback RPG that people have been begging Square Enix to bring to Western shores, and with good reason considering it received a 10/9/9/10 (38/40) from Japan’s most prolific gaming magazine, Famitsu. The game is best described as a spiritual successor to Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light released on the DS back in 2010. However, the art direction is the real standout here; see screenshots below:
We won’t have to wait too much longer, despite lack of firm date. However, with the game officially given a time table, we should all be satisfied with the knowledge the game is actually making its way over.
Expect more info from us here at Analog Addiction, we are going to keep a keen eye on this one.
