UK retailer GAME expects Sony’s PlayStation 4 to launch in the UK this year if the companies marketing campaign is anything to go by.
Spotted by VideoGamer.com, the ad material used in stores promoting the PS4 pre-orders advertises the console for the expected 2013 release and also prompts customers to put in a £20 pre-order deposit.
The precise release of the PlayStation 4 remains a mystery for now. Whilst the console is slated to release in at least one territory this year, Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida sounded unsure of a UK release this year when speaking with the gaming press following the announcement of the console in February.
However, earlier in the month, GameStop’s Mike Hogan spoke of Sony’s plan to release the console this year for every territory.
