The XCOM FPS has been ‘Refined’; “Only a matter of days” Until Its Reveal

Last week, we reported that the upcoming XCOM FPS has “disappeared” from the internet. Apparently, the game’s website and trailers have been taken down because a more refined version of the tactical FPS is in the works.

According to 2K’s blog, “In the coming days the world will get a fresh look at the long-awaited squad-based tactical shooter in development at 2K Marin.”

The game has reportedly changed since its initial reveal at last year’s E3 – “the game has undergone an evolution […] 2K Marin has refined their vision, and as a result the game has evolved into a high-stakes narrative experience imbued with core XCOM concepts.”

The blog post ends with – “The wait is nearly over and we can’t wait to share more details with you about the game in only a matter of days.”
