Metro: Last Light has gone gold, but it seems like 4A Games and Deep Silver are already planning way ahead of its release date.
In an interview with Ukrainian tech website, itcchannel, it has been revealed that not only will the game receive 5 post-launch DLC packs, but it will also be coming to the PS4, and that a whole new Metro: Last Light, focused entirely on the multiplayer portion, is in the works.
In addition, the developer plans to release an SDK for Metro: Last Light, which means that the modding community will be able to create its own adventures and share them with everyone else.
Regarding the multiplayer-focused Metro, the developer plans to release it at least half a year after the release of Metro: Last Light. They have also hinted at a season pass, but it hasn’t been officially confirmed.
Metro: Last Light is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on May 14th in North America and May 17th across Europe. If you’re interested, you can watch the entire interview below.
