2K has announced an August 23rd release date for the newly re-announced The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.
XCOM Declassified was announced overnight after having gone under drastic development changes seeing the game go from the first person shooter after its reveal in August 2010 to a third person shooter. Since then, the game was cancelled various times with little news of the game coming out in between besides the odd appearance at E3.
Developed by 2K Marin, the team behind Bioshock 2, players will take on the role of agent William Carter as an Alien species invades the Earth.
