Dead Island and Call of Juarez Developer Announces Hellraid

Hellraid #5

Techland, the developer behind the Dead Island franchise, and the Call of Juarez one, has announced that it’s developing a new game called Hellraid, in which players will have to “confront devilish monstrosities.”

Hellraid features a single-player campaign, and a unique multiplayer coop mode, in which players will have to work in groups of four, in order to defeat the creatures of hell. The game’s official description reads as follows:

“The armies of Hell brought pain and destruction to the realm of man, and only a select few have the fighting skills necessary to confront the devilish monstrosities.”

Hellraid will feature a first-person hack-and-slash combat experience, alongside RPG and first-person-shooter elements. Additionally, the game will also include a Game Master system, which means that “each game [will feature] a different experience” by placing loot and enemies in different places, and generating random online challenges.

Hellraid will be available for purchase sometimes this year, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
