A few days ago, we reported that a hacking group claimed to have hacked Nintendo’s Wii U. Now, it seems like that is entirely true. Additionally, the first victim to fall to the hackers is Avengers: Battle for Earth.
The modding scene responsible for the hacking is quite an old player. It was the one responsible for the Wii’s original hacking, and it seems like it’s the first to break Nintendo’s latest console as well. Here is a screenshot of the NFO regarding the scene’s hacking of the game.
Nintendo also stated a few days ago that it was aware of the fact “that a hacking group claims to have compromised Wii U security,” and that it will be taking the necessary legal steps to stop the piracy.
