Pikmin 3 Release Date Announced For Europe

Nintendo has announced the release date for Pikmin 3 in the latest edition of Nintendo Direct. The game now has a release date of July 29th for Europe.

Nintendo also revealed new information about the three new characters arriving in Pikmin 3. Charlie, the captain of spaceship lands on a planet with comrades Alph and Brittany on a strange planet where they bumb into these strange creatures known as Pikmin. The three then gather some magical fruit to go home to their own planet to save it from annihilation. With fruit.

The new characters, Brittany, Charlie and Alph will be controlled via the GamePad which players can also use manage their activities on the map. Nintendo also announced how players will be able to play the game with the Wii Remote. In addition to the new characters, Nintendo assured fans more information on the Multiplayer mode and Challenge mode will be coming later on.
