Konami has teased it will be revealing Solid Snake’s new voice actor at its E3 show next month.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was first shown at GDC in March where it was revealed during the debut trailer how Solid Snake will have a different voice actor for this new game. Whilst the voice actor isn’t known just yet, it’s been confirmed long-time voice actor for the series, David Hayter, won’t be returning.
Even Hayter himself has confirmed he will not be coming back. However, it won’t be surprising if Hayter in fact is voicing Snake in The Phantom Pain. Kojima carried out a long running – and transparent – ruse where he posed as fictional Swedish developer Joakim Mogren.
Konami’s pre-E3 show will start at 10:00 PST on June 6th. Be there or be square.
