EA has released details about NBA LIVE 14, the first game in the franchise since 2009 (NBA Live 10).
Powered by EA SPORTS’ next-gen engine, IGNITE, and developed by EA Tiburon in Orlando, Florida, NBA LIVE 14 promises to deliver the “ultimate” on-the-court control. Using its new ‘Bounce Tek’ technology, NBA LIVE 14 plans to introduce a “revolutionary” new, physics-based dribbling system.
“Whether it’s Ricky Rubio’s crossover or Kyrie Irving’s devastating between the legs dribble, one-on-one match-ups take on a whole new meaning by putting the creativity and control at the core of every move.”
NBA LIVE 14 will utilise the same data used by all 30 NBA teams, meaning more than 70 unique statistics and tendencies will drive and effect every single player on the court.
NBA LIVE players will evolve throughout the season with updates from every NBA game within one hour of the final buzzer. Maybe a player will perform a little sluggishly compared to his previous game? This will be applied to him in NBA LIVE 14, too. “Gamers will now have a new experience every time they pick the controller up.”
NBA LIVE 14 is set for release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this fall (Spring for Northern Hemisphere).
