The Walking Dead: 400 Days is set during the first 400 days of the zombie outbreak. Featuring five connected short stories, 400 days is centred around a Georgia truck stop where players will be thrust into horrifying situations that will test their morals.

The stories are playable in any order and players will control the flow of it through their decisions and actions.

“”After the incredible response to the first season of The Walking Dead, we wanted to surprise fans with something that offers a new angle on the world they love that’s connected to Season One and the upcoming Season Two through the choices that they make,” said Dan Connors, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. “400 Days is a great piece of connective tissue for fans to sink their teeth into and we’re thrilled that it’s to be included on PlayStation Vita as part of Season One.”

These screenshots come just hours after Telltale Games officially announced the DLC. The DLC will be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation, PC, Mac and iOS. Gamers will be able to get their hands on the content this July.

400 Days is “an all-new episode featuring five stories of survival.” This comes just days after Telltale was posting teaser videos via their twitter feed (link 1, link 2). We can only speculate as to whether this will tie into Season 2.

Vita users who purchase The Walking Dead will also get the 400 Days DLC included.
