Assassin’s Creed IV Present Day Screenshots

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is all about Edward Kenway and his adventures among the pirates, but what about the modern day stuff? Today we present you 4 brand-new screenshots showcasing what appears to be one of Abstergo’s cover-up companies.

In Assassin’s Creed IV, players themselves are hired by the modern day Templars into researching one of Desmond’s ancestors, that being Edward Kenway.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is scheduled for release in October 29th (North America), October 31st (Australia), and November 1st (across Europe), on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U. Unfortunately, there’s still no word on when will the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions be available, due to the fact that we don’t know the release dates of the consoles themselves. The PC version’s release date is also yet to be determined.

    • From the looks of it, we won’t be jumping into buildings or parachuting anymore. I think that players will simply stroll around Abstergo looking for clues and whatnot, and when they get bored, hop into the Animus. Furthermore, have you seen that desk in image #3? Is the new Animus a simple PC from which the hired “player” will “play” with Edward?
