Not that long ago, we wrote about Nintendo’s reserved, but determined stance regarding indie development on the Wii U. If the new sizzle reel to come out of today’s European Nintendo Direct is any indication, the company has far reaching plans for future indie development on the Wii U.

The games featured in the European Nintendo Direct are currently only confirmed for European and Australian territories, however it is extremely likely that North American Wii U owners will see many of the titles brought to the North American eShop as well.
