Nintendo eShop Update: 9/12/13 – 9/19/13

This week in Nintendo’s eShop, the Wii U receives one of its biggest releases of the year and a few 3DS download titles go on sale.

Originally unveiled at E3 2012 as “Project P-100,” The Wonderful 101 will be available to download from the Wii U’s eShop on Sept. 15.

In Wonderful 101you command a battalion of up to 100 superheroes in a fight against alien invaders known as the GEATHJERK. There are several different superheroes with unique abilities you activate using the Wii U’s GamePad. The more superheroes you have at your disposal, the more powerful their abilities become. These abilities are also used to solve puzzles.

Players will also be able to upgrade character’s abilities in Wonderful 101 and cooperative modes with up to five players using the GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller or Wii Remote with an attached Classic Controller.
