Microsoft Offering Free Digital Game For Broken Consoles

In response to complaints from customers about broken consoles where the disc drive won’t accept game discs, Microsoft will be offering free games to those affected.

Speaking on the issue, Microsoft explained what affected users will get in an email sent to Polygon. “While a replacement console is on its way, we want to ensure our advance exchange customers can stay in the game. We will provide each of them with a free digital download of one of the launch titles published by Microsoft Studios.”

The amount of faulty consoles reported is very small however as Microsoft confirmed yesterday. The firm has been very adamant that it tales the issue seriously and is taking care of its customers.
