The Division’s Full Snowdrop Next-Gen Engine Trailer Released

Following a teaser from a few days ago, Ubisoft has now officially revealed the whole trailer for its upcoming next generation engine – Snowdrop – which debuts with the launch of a brand-new IP – The Division.

The Division will let you explore a devastated New York City like never-before, sometime in the fall of 2014, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

In addition to being a PC editor, Vlad Pintea is also a chief of news and reviews here at Analog Addiction, and sometimes he even speaks his own mind. You can contact him via e-mail at vlad94pintea@yahoo.com and vlad94pintea@gmail.com, on Skype (vlad94pintea), Steam, Facebook, and Twitter. Have a good day, and remember: stay calm, and keep on gaming!

  1. This engine demo makes me so freaking excited for the possibilities of next gen. I know that in most cases we won’t actually “stop and smell the roses” and take in how absolutely gorgeous some of this stuff will look but I might just try to. This is one of the many reasons I love Ubisoft. They are so forward looking and because of that they release pretty top quality gaming experiences in the realm of AAA games. They, by far, were my go-to developer on “current-gen” and they are shaping up to be my go-to developer on “next-gen” as well.

    • I think that’s the beauty of these possibilities from the next generation. Just like in real life, you simply cannot see everything, and that’s exactly why these upcoming games like Division, Witcher etc. will be so immersive. And, I also agree on Ubisoft – the publisher is without any doubt in my top 3 publishers of all time. From franchises like Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia (STILL WAITING, GUYS!), Rayman etc, they’ve got top-quality titles for everyone.
