Prepare for ‘Titanfall’ Beta

Respawn Entertainment and Vince Zampella have been teasing a Titanfall Beta for some time now. However, we finally have some details for you.

Electronic Arts has officially announced that the Titanfall Beta will start on February 14. Only the Xbox One and PC versions of the game will receive a Beta.

During the Beta, gamers will be able to play three game modes: Attrition, a team deathmatch style game type; Hardpoint Domination, in which teams fight over three hardpoints throughout the map to earn points; Last Titan Standing, which is pretty much what it sounds like – a fight to the death in titans with no respawning or replacement titans.

Unfortunately, the Titanfall Beta is only available to selected users. For a chance to be selected, you’ll have to register at http://www.titanfall.com/beta.

The Beta was thought to be going from February 14 to February 18, however, the Beta application page says codes will be sent “no later than 11:59 PM PST on Feb 17th.” It is possible this means the Beta could go longer than the rumoured February 18.

Titanfall will be available for Xbox One and PC on March 11 in North America and March 13 in Europe. The Xbox 360 version will be available on March 25 in North America and March 28 in Europe.

Analog Addiction editors had a chance to play Titanfall at the Eurogamer Expo and EB Games Expo last year. We came away extremely impressed.

Nathan Manning is an Xbox Editor for AnalogAddiction. He is only critical on the Xbox brand because he has a loyalty to it. You can find him on Twitter and AnalogAddiction there as well.
